Sol Livingston has worked in public and private sectors as an educator, administrator, curriculum coach, and consultant and is the director of KinderCare Learning Center in Reston, VA.  She has conducted a variety of workshops and trainings around early childhood education and development for schools, parent groups, and organizations such as Foundations for Families, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and most recently, at the Virginia Association of Early Childhood Education's annual conference.  Sol Livingston also contributed to the Office of Head Start’s 2008 art, literacy, and family involvement program, Family Night at the Museum, and is featured in its "A Head Start on Picturing America Resource Guide", a tool used by educators nationwide to integrate art into early childhood classrooms. Sol Livingston hold a B.S. from Howard University and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Education.

To anyone under the age of 5, however, "Ms. Livingston" is known for her work as a storytime performer, bringing a fresh and modern take to the standard storytime and engaging even the littlest ones in the joys of reading a book!  

Mrs. Livingston you were such a magnificant addition to our event; you wowed everyone from the 1 year olds to the 65 year olds.  Rock-n-Tot just wouldn't be the same without you.

Your storytelling is so innovative and exciting that I feel lucky to live in your area.
