Mrs. Livingston

Early Childhood Educator

A native of California and graduate of Howard University, Mrs. Livingston has worked in education for several years.  Her broad range of experience includes: working as a teacher for Bright Beginnings, a nonprofit servicing homeless children and their families; an Early Childhood Education Coach for WEDJ Public Charter School for the Performing Arts; and as the Director of Extended Day Programs, a role she currently she holds at Burgundy Farm Country Day School in Alexandria, VA.  A member of Americans for the Arts, the National Council of Teachers of English, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children, Mrs. Livingston has conducted a variety of presentations and trainings on topics ranging from “Effective Parental and Teenage Communication” to the “Integrating Fine Art into Early Childhood Classrooms” for notable organizations such as Foundations for Families and Head Start. Mrs. Livingston brings a fresh and modern take to the standard storytime, engaging even the littlest ones in the joys of reading
a book.
